Only 100 meters away from Michi-no-Eki ‘Hakushu’, has 16,000 square meters wide vineyards around, been making European style wine since 1963. They started their wine making in 1919 but had moved to the present place as the location was rich in nature.
‘Katsunuma’ is the most famous in Yamanashi prefecture and in Japan as a production area for wine but there are few wineries outside ‘Katsunuma’ and this is one of it. It would be fun if you could taste the differences between the Japanese wines in Yamanashi prefecture!
Observing the factory is welcome.
